We were delighted to welcome Mr Luison Lassala on Wednesday, 20 November for an interactive workshop on Electronic Media and Social Networking.  Parents welcomed Mr Luison Lassala on Wednesday 20 November for an interactive workshop on Electronic Media and Social Networking.
Mr Lassala is an educationalist, a member of the Internet Safety Advisory Council of Ireland and a partner in the international think-tank on social media: InterMedia Social Innovation. He has carried out extensive research in this area and his contributions include the Watch Your Space survey on social networking and the award- winning study, YouTube: Usage and Abusage.
We had a good turnout and everyone agreed it was very informative. Handouts are still available for those parents who were unable to attend. Please let the school office know if you would like one.
