Public examination results at The Cedars are strong, and our ‘Attainment 8’ scores are usually in the top 10% nationally. A large proportion of boys completing Year 11 now opt to remain in our sixth form, and our sixth form leaver destinations include Oxford University, University of Navarre (Spain) and Notre Dame University, USA. The vast majority progress to UK Russell Group universities.

A-level  Results 2024

Congratulations to all this year's Upper Sixth on their excellent A Level results. 

• 38% of entries were graded A*-A

• 71% of entries were graded A*-B

• 72% of pupils achieved their 1^st choice university.

• 77% of pupils secured places at Russell Group universities.

GCSE Results 2024 

A massive congratulations to all of our GCSE pupils this year! We are immensely proud of their achievements and wish them well in their future studies. This cohort has done exceptionally well and maintained a high level of achievement across the board, despite the decline nationally to pre-covid levels.

Overall:

• 30% of results were at grade 9-8 (A* equivalent grades)
• 51% of results were at grade 9-7 (A or A* grades) more than double the 22.6% national average
• 96% of results were at 9-4 compared to the 70.4% national average
