Year 8 Visit London Zoo

The Cedars Admin • 11 March 2016

On Friday Year 8 visited London Zoo with Mr Portal, Mr Anson and Mr Loembe, The highlights included: admiring a huge Silverback Lowland Gorilla with a female carrying a baby and an inspiring discussion with a member of the zoo’s education department on how climate change is already effecting the distribution of animals on our planet and what we can do to help reduce this.  The boys also had a close encounter with Cecil the sleepy Corn Snake; and closed the day with an underwater fly-past by the resident Humboldt Penguins at feeding time! A fantastic experience, enjoyed by all!
