Forgiveness

Bernadette Millington • 4 October 2019

We received a visit from Margaret Mizen earlier this term when she came to address our sixth form on the subject of forgiveness. Margaret is the mother of Jimmy Mizen who was murdered in south London in 2008. She and her husband forgave their son’s killer and set up a charity, ‘For Jimmy’, to bring good out of his tragic death. Since hearing the talk, our sixth formers have pledged to raise money for the Mizens’ charity and you can read more about the charity’s work here:  http://forjimmy.org/our- journey/
