Jonathan Majin began learning piano whilst at school and took part in house music competitions and school productions.

He studied music at Goldsmiths' College including jazz performance and composition and after graduating with a BMus in 1995 continued playing professionally.

Regular function work at venues across the home counties included a jazz vocal duo at Buckingham Palace and piano residencies at London hotels.

After his degree, Jonathan took an LTCL diploma in Music Education and taught piano courses for adults at SCOLA.  He has been a visiting music teacher at schools in South London since 1998.

He integrates teaching with performance and works as a freelance musician.
