Catherine Usher

Mrs Usher studied double bass at the Royal Northern College of Music under Corin Long, Rodney Slatford and Steve Berry, and completed her music degree at the University of York before gaining her PGCE qualification at the Institute of Education, London. Mrs Usher joined The Cedars from Woldingham School, where she was Head of Academic Music, having previously been the Director of Music at Wallington County Grammar School. She is a keen singer and enjoys performing as part of the London Philharmonic Choir. Mrs Usher is passionate about music education and aims to ensure that all boys at The Cedars achieve their full musical potential.
